AID MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR NEPAL
Output 1: Increased access to Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE ) in and out of schools and Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services for adolescent girls and boys with a focus on gender equality and prevention of Gender Based Violence (GBV).
Output 2: Effective delivery of quality CSE through mechanisms for regular training, refreshers, and provision of mentoring and coaching support for teachers in DFAT supported districts.
Output 3: Evidence generated for CSE advocacy, policy, planning and to recognize adolescents understanding of GBV and harmful social norms to upscale support for CSE.
At the Outcome level, the expected results are to increase knowledge on sexuality, Sexual Reproductive Health rights and Gender Based Violence among adolescent girls and boys and to eliminate GBV and other forms of discrimination in schools through CSE
This project will contribute to the UNFPA Eight Country Programme Action Plan 2018-22; outcome 1 linked to universal access to SRHR, outcome 2 on empowering young people to meet their full potential, and outcome 3 on gender equality and GBV prevention and response. It will also contribute to DFAT’s Gender Equality and Empowerment strategy, priority 3 that focuses on ending violence against women and girls.
Goal: Adolescent girls and boys have adequate knowledge and information to advance gender equality, exercise their Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) rights, and address Gender Based Violence and harmful social norms.
