AID MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR NEPAL

The project agreement signed with Social Wefare Council

Finanical resources amounting to Nepali Rupees 297,883,550 (GBP 1,861,772) for 2016-2018; and human resources (10 national and one expatriate staff and about 500 plus national volunteers).

Sanitation, handwashing fcilities constructed/rehabilitated; Awareness rising and promotion  of sanitation and good hygine practices;,safe drinking water systems constructed/rehabilitated; WUCs capacitated with O&M Funds; Awareness of causes and concequences of climate change and natural disaster enhanced and coping strategies diversified;  increased capacity of CBOs in NRM; earthquake affected houses repaired/rehabilitated; agriculture diversification; skills training on non-farm livelihood opportunities; Youth mobilized and trained in leadership and active citizenship; role of youth as change agent and partner in development enhanced; establishment/stregthening of local youth groups; national society of Raleigh supported youth established and functional to meet the Raleigh Objectives.

Increased demand for and access to adequate sanitation facilities, improved hygeine practices;and safe, reliable and affordable drinking water systems;

Increased resilience and reduced vulnerability to climate change extremes and natural disaster;

Improved livelihoods for the poor and disadvantaged particularly women and young people; and

Increased ability and motivation of young people to lead change.

Improved living conditions of economically poor and socially disadvantaged youth, women and men in the selected communities of Gorkha and Makawanpur districts and nationawide active citizenship by enabled youth as agents of chage and partners in development.
