Input: 

Output 1: School Children in the target schools in  Gorkha, Sindhuli. Lalitpur and Makwanpur have access to a safe, healthy, resilient, inclusive and child-friendly learning environment, enabling quick recovery and normal school activities before & during  re-building of permanent school infrastructure

Output 2: Staff and students in target schools in Gorkha, Sindhuli, Lalitpur and Makwanpur are benefitting from quality educational materials and improved training practices and learning methods and have increased awareness on school safety and resilience, as well as on good hygiene and sanitation practices.

Output 3: Addressing poverty & gender disparity and contribute for equity and social justice in selected VDCs of Lalitpur District, Nepal.


Outputs: 

Output 1.1. Target schools are provided with school infrastructure, including WASH,  according to qualitative and quantitative needs

Output 1.2:  Children have access to age appropriate education and recreational materials

Output 2.1. Teachers have basic skills in child friendly classroom management and positive discipline as well as basic knowledge on typical challenges on education sector in a post disaster setting and how to handle them.

Output 2.2. Focal points in target schools have adequate capacity to respond to psycho-social symptoms of students. 

Output 2.3. Affected children, adolescent, teachers and parents will be offered support in school based DRR and disaster related child protection

Output 3.1. Target women generated financial capital from institutionalization of saving and credits

Output 3.2 Target women benefited from women owned and women managed enterprises

Output 3.3: Women participation in decision making process increased and their voices heard.


Outcome:

Outcome 1: Affected Children, youth and their families in remote areas will be offered a safe learning environment within new semi-permanent transitional learning centers or repaired classrooms, WASH facilities and equipped with essential education materials

Outcome 2: Teachers are more prepared to handle post-disaster challenges in the classrooms in a professional and child friendly manner.

Outcome 3:  Improved economic and social status of target women through access to finance, vocational trainings and  enterprise establishment 


Impact: 

Impact 1: Wellbeing, safety and academic performance of disaster affected students, families and teachers by improving school infrastructure, professional skills of the teachers and enhancing child protection in schools.

Impact 2: Quality of life of target women enhanced through access to income, self-employment and meaningful participation at decision making process.
