AID MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR NEPAL

Outcome 1: 1200 students in five schools in Sindhupalchok have access to safe and child friendly schools including appropriate WASH facilities.

Output 1.1 -26 new child friendly classrooms are reconstructed and furnished with new furniture’s.

Output 1.2 -18 partially destroyed classroom are refurbished and furnished with furniture’s.

Output 1.3 -Appropriate latrines, sufficient water supply including hand washing facilities available in all five schools.

All the supported schools will have classrooms accessible for disabled students and have improved safety provisions against earthquakes , landslides , rock falls and floods.

Outcome 2 : Students, Teachers and school Management  Committees in 5 schools are able to maintain a safe and child friendly school environment .

Output 2.1 -12 Children improved their hygiene and waste usages behavior including the awareness on environmental and health issued related to water sanitation and hygiene.

Output 2.2 - School Management  Committees and teachers of all 5 schools have increased their capacity on operation & maintenance and O&M plans are in place.

Output 2.3 – Students, Teachers , School Management Committees and Governments representatives of 5 schools have increased their capacity on DRR and Disaster Risk management plans are in place.

Output 2.4 – Awareness on the importance of school attendance and an understanding of possible consequences of drop-outs have been promoted among children, parents, teachers, SMC members and Government Representatives.
