Outputs: 
  • A Children's Home is established for 84 abandoned/orphaned/ disadvantaged children. This home provides them shelter, food, clothing, medicine, education, most of all love & care.
  • Depending upon the child's needs, the organization provides them either full or partial financial assistance for food, clothing and education. However, children are not admitted to the Children's Home, instead, their parents care for them.
  • Children raised in the  Children's Home (either full time or in 12 hour care), and who meet preconditions, are eligible for financial support for higher education.
  • LPPCHCT, with funds provided by CHI Canada/Nepal, assist the School Management Committee with funds after approval is received from the District Education Office.
  • We teach women about sewing and tailoring
  • Assist families and individuals who are destitute with limited, customized support to meet their basic health and food needs.
  • CHI Canada/Nepal provides limited financial support to other worthy Nepali Organization that supports needy children, youth, women and those in old age. Included are organizations or events that promote the development of Children's and Women's rights in Nepal.
  • Five percent of the capital budget of the Children's Home (along with earned interest)  is saved for the long-term sustainability of the Home.

Outcome:

To raise Children to become good and productive citizens of Nepal.

 

To assist Children through education to become good and productive citizens  of Nepal.

 

Achieved higher education.

 

The outcome is to provide Children, many of them from disadvantaged circumstances, with the necessary knowledge to become successful members of society.

To provide students with the necessary skill sets to gain employment and become self supporting citizens. 

 

Limited assistance until their challenging situation ends

(i.e. medical treatment) helps people to overcome very difficult times.

 

To improve the circumstance of those in need and the advancement of Children's and Women's rights. 

 

The 5% of the capital budget of the Children's Home, along with earned interest, provides financial support should it be required at some future date.

 


Impact: 
  • Nepal will benefit by those that grow up in the LPPCHCT Home who will become contributing citizens that will enrich Nepalese society and participate in the country's economic growth.
  • Nepal will benefit by those that achieve higher education and who become leaders in Nepal's growing economy.
  • Higher education achievements benefits students and the overall Nepalese society. 
  • Creating employment for those who have been under employed.
  • Helping those in great need helps lift the overall society
  • Helping those in great need helps lift the overall society of Nepal.
  • A measure of Stability and Predictability is provided by this dedicated fund.
