  • 1350 Youth identify viable enterprise opportunities and develop their business plans
  • 1350 Youth access to improved employment and enterprise support systems including finance provision, networking opportunities and potential employers
  • 1350 Youth entrepreneurs establish new business and receive post-launch support (mentoring, skills, training, finance, etc) and run as a profitable enterprise

Outputs of Outcome 3; Youth Leadership and Empowerment:

  • 2790 Youth in Nepal have an increased knowledge around the SDGs and the issues relating to them
  • 2156 Youth have increased servant/transformative leadership and technical skills, socio-emotional competencies and social capital
  • Raised awareness on the importance of youth-engagement in partnerships that support the SDGs amongst Civil Society actors at local, regional and national levels
  • 2360 Youth in Nepal engaged in the design and development, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of development programmes that support the SDGs
  • 560 Youth whose voices are being heard through advocacy campaign
  • Increased capacity of Civil Society Organizations and National Societies to effectively engage young people in the implementation of the SDGs

Outcome:

Outcomes - Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

  • Increase access to safe water in 83 communities and 50 schools in the Gorkha, Dhading and Makawanpur districts of Nepal
  • Increase access to safe sanitation and hygiene infrastructure/facilities among 83 communities and 50 schools in the Gorkha, Dhading and Makawanpur districts of Nepal
  • Promote sustained Knowledge and practice of safe WASH behavior among community members and school children in Gorkha, Dhading and Makawanpur districts of Nepal
  • Support improved and equitable local sustainable governance, management and maintenance of WASH in 83 communities in the Gorkh and Makawanpur districts of Nepal

Outcomes: Livelihoods/ Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (LEED)

  • Increased 1350 successful youth entrepreneurs in the Gorkha, Dhading and, Makawanpur districts of Nepal
  • Increased 80% of youth in employment that is safe, dignified and fair in the Gorkha, Dhading and Makawanpur districts of Nepal

Outcomes: Youth Leadership and Empowerment (YLE)

  • Increased capabilities, knowledge, skills and social capital of young people (aged18-35) in Nepal to effectively engage as partners and leaders in the achievement of the SDGs in the Gorkha, Makawanpur and Dhading districts of Nepal
  • Increased number of young people (aged18-35) effectively engaged as partners and leaders in the Gorkha, Makawanpur and Dhading districts of Nepal to support the achievement of the SDGs
  • Increased number of young leaders effectively engaged in decision-making processes and advocacy in the Gorkha, Makawanpur and Dhading districts of Nepal to support the achievement of the SDGs

Impact:
