AID MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR NEPAL

The main activities to implement the state building contract are policy dialogue, financial transfer, performance assessment, the preparation of disbursement dossiers, and complementary measures to strengthen the government’s capacity towards the achievement of the general and specific objectives of the Action.

1. Provision of additional fiscal space for the Government of Nepal, accelerating development spending for inclusive recovery and reconstruction;
2. A recovery and reconstruction process that enhances disaster preparedness and resilience based on  building back better principles including institutions, systems, processes and regulations;
3. Public Financial Management and accountability mechanisms focused on the reconstruction processes strengthened
4. The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) and relevant institutions operate in line with a transparent and sound financial management for more efficient and accountable use of public funds.

Financial and implementation capacity of the government for recovery and reconstruction, foster resilience and disaster preparedness, and enhance transparency and accountability in the reconstruction processes will be improved.
