Input: 

Improve drinking water supply and sanitation facilities at communities.

Provide school latrine support to schools in the Ramechhap District.

Provide training for disabled and disadvantaged people. Provide knowledge and skills to empower them to make more out of their lives.

Provide vocational training (masonry and plumbing) in Dolakha District where there is an identified need.

Improve health and prevention of neonatal asphyxia management skills to health workers on Helping Babies Breath. Provide baby mannequins to practice on and training manuals.

Monitor the effects of the Helping Babies Breathe training to document if it is having the desired effect.

Provide training and funding to improve family food security and nutrition in the Lamjung District.

Provide school furniture support to 15 schools in the Lamjung District.


Outputs: 

Drinking water supply and sanitation facilities improved in targeted Districts leading to improved health of the community people.

Improved knowledge and skills of disabled people to increase their livelihood status.

Improve Neonatal health and decrease mortality of newborn babies.

Improved vocational skills in areas of need.

Improve food security and nutrition.

Improved school conditions.


Outcome:

People will have access to clean water and toilet facilities.

Disabled people will have skills to improve their ability to get better jobs and increase their finances.

The mortality rate of newborns will go up.

People will be provided with vocational skills to support themselves and their families with.

People will have a healthier and more secure diet.

Children will have better learning conditions in their schools.


Impact: 

Communities will have water and management skills to maintain their own water supply and better hygiene.

We will be able to evaluate the progress made from these projects to the improvement of individual people’s lives and communities after the projects are completed.

Community attitude will change. They will take ownership of the project and continuing improvements in their communities.
