(a) Assign counterpart personnel and administrative personnel as well as mobilize relevant organizations to cooperate with and implement the project in an effective manner.

(b) Arrange suitable office space with necessary equipment.

(c) Supply or replacement of machinery, equipment, instruments, vehicles,tools,spareparts and other materials necessary for the implementation of the project other than the equipment provided by JICA.

(d) Information as well as support in obtaining medical services.

(e) Credentials or identification cards

(f) Available data and information related to the project.

(g) Running expenses necessary for the implementation of the project.

 


Outputs: 
  • Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital and Bir Hospital, both of which has been severely damaged by the earthquake, will be reconstructed.
  • The transmission pipeline, which has been severely damaged by the earthquake, will be  rehabilitated with BBB concept.
  • Five bridge will be constructed at river-crossing points along Barhakilo-Barpak Road

Outcome:
  • Livlihood of the people in the Kathmandu Valley will be improved through advanced medical services.
  • Livelihood and hygienic situation of the people in Chautara and vicinity area will be improved through stable and sufficient water supply.
  • Transportation of people, daily commodities and construction material is secured thhrough year so that, in the case of earthquake diaster, people in mountainous remote ares can smoothly start rescue, relief and recovery.

Impact: 
  • People will have access to medical services provided by the two target hospitals.
  • People will have sufficient access to tap water.
  • Road logistics to Barpak,Which is one of the most devastated area by the earthquake, is secured even uring monsoon season when the river water level is high.
