Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide 15 million USD (approx. Rs 1570 million) grant assistance from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR) to the Government of Nepal for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Livelihood Restoration for Earthquake Affected Communities Project. The JFPR is a fund set up by the Government of Japan and managed by ADB

December 04:Agreement with Asian Development Bank

The Asian Development (ADB) has agreed to provide a loan assistance of USS 200 million (approximately equivalent to NRs. 20 billion) for the implementation of the Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project to the Government of Nepal (GoN).

August 14: Agreement with the International Development Association (IDA)

The International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group has agreed to provide US$ 300 million (Equivalent to NRs. 31 billion) loan assistance to the Government of Nepal for Financial Sector Reform Action support and for the implementation of the Earthquake Housing Reconstruction Project.

July 24: Agreement with Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea has agreed to provide US dollar 8 million grant (Approximately Rs. 797.1 million) to the Government of Nepal for the implementation of the Inclusive Rural Development in Nawalparasi Project. The agreement to this effect was signed and exchanged between two Governments in the Ministry of Finance, Kathmandu, today.

July 23:Post Disaster Reconstruction Plan between the GoN and Government of China

A Joint Bilateral Meeting on Post Disaster Reconstruction Plan between the Government of Nepal and Government of People's Republic of China was held today in the Ministry of Finance.

July 15: Agreement with the United nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The United nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has agreed to provide 15 million US Dollar grant (About equivalent Rs 1.5 billion) for the implementation of Emergency Top-up Cash Transfer Project for the Earthquake-affected Vulnerable Population to the Government of Nepal.
