Input: 

 

In the changed context of a complex Nepal, the worsening political situation with the risk of peace process failing, the need of a more in-depth information sharing amongst the BOG members with a stronger response capacity for any situation with proper tools through a strengthened BOGs secretariat becomes increasingly necessary. As SDC has played an important role in making the BOGs what it is today, it is only natural that SDC continue to support the BOGs by fully financing a BOGs Coordinating Officer who will report to the chair of the BOGs Group and based in the Risk Management Office (RMO), a project so far co-financed by DFID and the GTZ. In terms of institutional set-up, there will be an agreement between DFID, the GTZ and SDC to co-finance RMO.
