d) Percentage of women delivered by SBAs in the ten UNICEF supported MNH districts
Input:
1. Implement behavior change communication activities supported for increasing awareness and adoption of maternal, newborn, child health and nutrition practices especially of socially excluded, and marginalized groups in DACAW districts.
2. Mobilize youth as community advocates for maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition related care and practices.
3. Health and nutrition related activities promoted through child clubs, mothers groups and WATCH groups in DACAW districts.
4. Develop National hand washing with soap and water Strategy & Action plan and its operationalisation in cooperation with government, NGOs and Private sector
Impact:
The health and nutrition status of mothers, children and adolescents improved with focus on socially excluded and economically marginalized groups and equitable and participatory approach and implementation of high-impact cost effective proven interventions.
Outcome:
More families, especially the disadvantaged, practice essential maternal, adolescents, child and newborn care, hygiene and feeding with active involvement of male family and community members.
